The SmallRig 4985 X-Touch Smart Triple-Proof V-Mount Battery X221 sets a new standard for professional power solutions by integrating smart technology, robust protection, high-power fast charging, and multi-port versatility — making it ideal for demanding shooting environments.

The X221 is designed to withstand the rigours of professional use and features triple protection: a 1.5 m drop-resistant housing with eight silicone-protected corners, silicone-covered metal side panels, and fully reinforced internal circuits. With an IP54 rating, the battery ensures reliable operation against splashing water, rain, or dust, making it perfect for outdoor productions.

The battery features eight strategically positioned ports: one BP port, two D-Tap ports, two USB-C ports (supporting 140W PD fast charging), one USB-A port, and two DC ports. Each port operates on an independent circuit, allowing multiple devices to be charged simultaneously. It can safely fast-charge itself in just 2.5 hours while simultaneously delivering a stable power output.

The battery's smart management system is centred around a 2.0-inch HD colour touchscreen with a matt, anti-reflective surface for optimal visibility in all lighting conditions. A dedicated mobile app enhances on-set workflow with remote control features including battery level monitoring, port management, battery location tracking, and wireless updates.

The battery utilises high-quality imported LG cells and BMS smart chips, offering comprehensive eight-layer protection including safeguards against overcurrent, overheating, and overload. This ensures a long service life and operational safety. Thanks to precise power level indication, users can charge and discharge with complete peace of mind.

Mounting options include 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, complemented by a backlight indicator for quick and accurate installation even in low-light conditions.
