The SmallRig 5142 RC 100B COB LED Video Light (Pro Version / EU Standard) is the latest addition to SmallRig's Portable COB LED Video Light Ecosystem. This innovative light features a sleek cubic design and an efficient in-house cooling system. Compact and lightweight, the handy RC 100B is only a third of the size of traditional COB LED lights, closely resembles the RED KOMODO and weighs only 700 grams. This design facilitates storage and transport, making it ideal for shooting on the move.
Equipped with a Chip-on-Board light source, the RC 100B features a patented high Colour Rendering Index (CRI) for exceptional illumination and colour accuracy. At a distance of 1 m, it delivers 4,610 Lux at 5600K, which can be increased to 20,100 Lux with the 45° mini-reflector. With a CRI of 97+, a TLCI of 98+, an SSI (3200K) of 91 and TM-30 (3200K) Rf/Rg values of 97/102, this lamp guarantees professional Colour rendering and accurate reproduction of natural daylight. It also features cool and warm light options, special effects and preset modes, simulating sunlight from 2700K to 6500K with 12 special effects. Users can quickly access four sets of preset parameters for specific lighting settings.
Control options include Wireless control via the SmallGoGo app or DMX wired control with a separate adapter. Manual adjustments are facilitated by a 1.44-inch colour LCD screen and two independent buttons.
The lamp offers versatile power options, allowing Wireless control with V-mount or NP-F970 Batteries. It can also be charged via a USB-C port using accessories such as a power handle, PD power bank or charging cable, as well as an AC-to-DC power adapter. The included EU standard power adapter provides full light output for the RC 100B via socket conversion, with plug-and-play functionality!
Made of V-0 flame-retardant PC+ABS and reinforced with metal at the base, the lamp is 30% lighter than full aluminium alloy housings, while maintaining durability for frequent use.
An extensive range of optional accessories is included, fully compatible with SmallRig's mini-mount light modifiers (D30, D60, 45x45 Softbox), Battery Accessories (V-mount and NP-F970 Batteries, universal power handle for COB lamps) and Mount Accessories (Tripod Adapter, Bowens Mount Adapters, Magic Arm with 1/4"-20 ARRI positioning pins). This offers users a one-stop solution for portability, convenient Power, easy operation, high-quality light source and a complete accessory ecosystem.
