SmallRig 5227 V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit
The SmallRig 5227 V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit offers a compact, lightweight, and efficient all-in-one power solution. This kit includes a V-mount battery plate, an Arca-Swiss quick release plate, and an LCD screen protector.
The V-mount battery plate features an Arca-Swiss quick-release mechanism, enabling fast attachment to cameras with tool-free locking and adjustment for rapid battery installation. The Arca-Swiss base plate is equipped with an adjustable locking lever, making it compatible with most Arca-Swiss quick release plates on the market and allowing direct mounting of cages and L-shaped handles with built-in Arca-Swiss plates. In addition, the base plate is retractable to accommodate mirrorless cameras of various sizes.
Strategically positioned power outputs on the V-mount battery plate — including D-Tap and USB-C — allow simultaneous power delivery to multiple devices without interfering with camera or handle operation. The USB-C port supports PD input of up to 65 W, enabling it to function as a V-mount battery charger. The modular LCD screen protector is adjustable in both height and width without tools and fits most mirrorless cameras with a flip-out screen, while protecting against impacts.
The V-mount battery plate is also rotatable through 180°: 0° for compact storage, 90° for low-profile mounting on a camera, and 180° for easy access to the LCD screen. The stainless steel gear-lock mechanism provides a firm grip for wobble-free footage, while a damping system prevents the battery from dropping during rotation, ensuring the safety of your equipment. The battery release button features a safety lever with adjustable activation, preventing accidental release and ensuring secure operation.
The kit also includes cable clamps and an elastic hook-and-loop fastener for organised cable management, minimising the risk of snagging during filming. The V-mount plate features multiple mounting holes for cable clamps to allow custom routing. The V-mount plate is equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 threaded and positioning holes, enabling the attachment of optional accessories such as magic arms (SmallRig ID 3238B / 3873) for wireless transmitters and professional setups.
