The SmallRig 5886 Cage for DJI Osmo Action 6 (Basic Edition) is a fully protective plastic cage designed to protect the camera against impacts, whilst keeping all buttons and ports fully accessible.

SmallRig 5886 Cage for DJI Osmo Action 6 (Basic Edition)

The cage offers multiple expansion options for attaching accessories, improving shooting efficiency. It features two cold shoe mounts for attaching optional LED video lights or microphones, and is compatible with the DJI Mic 2 and SmallRig LED video lights (SmallRig ID 5446). It is equipped with a magnetic quick-release on the side for compatibility with DJI's original dual-directional quick-release adapter.

The open design at the bottom ensures that the camera's built-in magnetic quick-release remains accessible and can be combined with SmallRig bidirectional quick-release adapters (SmallRig ID 5890, 5779, 5918) for quick switching between horizontal and vertical configurations. The battery compartment remains accessible without removing the cage, making battery changes effortless. In addition, the cage features a side attachment point for a carrier strap to prevent the cage from accidentally dropping during handheld shooting.
