The SmallRig 6023 "HawkLock" Quick Release Half Cage for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV is designed to offer versatile expansion options and enable quick configuration changes. The cage features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, allowing seamless switching between handheld, gimbal, and tripod configurations. Thanks to the quick release plate, the cage can be quickly mounted onto DJI gimbals without removing the DJI quick release plate, improving installation efficiency.

The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 positioning holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of optional accessories such as side handles (SmallRig ID 4485) and top handles (SmallRig ID 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount allows you to attach devices such as the DJI Mic 2 and lights, while a QD connector on the bottom provides shoulder strap attachment points for improved portability.

In addition, the quick release plate on the bottom, combined with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick release plate (SmallRig ID 4486), enables rapid slide-on mounting with an automatic locking mechanism. The base also features a magnetic hex key for easy assembly and disassembly.
