The SmallRig Lightweight Baseplate with Dual 15 mm Rod Clamp (magnesium alloy version) is designed for use with the M Agnesium Alloy Cage 3065 to make sure the distance from the centre of the lens to the centre of the bars is 85 mm. This magnesium aluminium alloy version is about 40% lighter than the traditional aluminium alloy.

The SmallRig Lightweight Baseplate comes with a detachable pad to adjust the height. The bottom of the 3067 is a standard ARRI quick release plate interface and features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes. This ensures quick disassembly and assembly. You can also quickly transfer the baseplate to other types of quick-release plates in this way. At the top is the standard Manfrotto quick release plate interface that allows you to quickly switch to the stabiliser.
