The SmallRig MagEase magnetic 1/4 effect Black Mist filter kit (52mm) 4217 softens high light intensity and reduces the contrast and sharpness of the image, creating a dreamy and romantic atmosphere without losing shadow details. By subtly softening people's skin, this item can retouch your portrait photo in a natural-looking way. Effect densities are commonly available in 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 for different levels of diffusion.

The filter is made of German Schott B270i HD glass and features waterproof, smudge-resistant, mildew-resistant and scratch-resistant AR coatings, with reduced colour cast, as well as a CNC-machined ultra-thin frame. No vignetting, even when shooting with an ultra-wide-angle lens. It can be magnetically and securely attached to the SmallRig Magnetic Filter Adapter Ring (sold separately).
