The AI chip is smart enough to recognise people and animals even when their back is turned to the camera, so you keep your subject in view. Autofocus coverage is very wide with 759 focus points, covering as much as 93% of the frame. Framing is also easier, because AI-based Auto Framing keeps your subject prominently in the picture.

For filmmakers, the A6700 combines some of the best features from Sony’s Cinema line. With the rear mode dial, you can switch between photo and video mode in an instant. In all resolutions and frame rates, you can record in 10-bit 4:2:2 for excellent colour depth. The Sony E 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II is a lightweight lens with a versatile 16-50mm focal range. This flexible focal length makes the lens suitable for many types of photography. From portraits to wide-angle shots, the Sony E 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II can handle it all.

The aperture range runs from f/3.5-5.6 to f/22-36. Seven rounded aperture blades create attractive bokeh. Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode keeps your images stable, even during movement. This Mark II lens also continues to follow your subject while zooming. The minimum focusing distance is 25 centimetres.

The optical construction consists of nine elements in eight groups. One extra-low dispersion element and four aspherical lens elements help prevent distortion and reduce chromatic aberration. A multi-coating further improves image quality.

Thanks to its low weight and compact size, this lens is also ideal on the go. It is even lighter than its predecessor and weighs only 107 grams. The retractable design makes the lens extra compact, with the lens extending only when you switch the camera on.

The Sony E 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS offers a practical telephoto range for APS-C cameras. The lens delivers a 35mm equivalent of 105-525mm. Its wide zoom range makes it particularly suitable for sports, nature and landscape photography.

The built-in SteadyShot image stabilisation minimises camera shake and delivers sharper images when shooting handheld. The XD linear motor in the Sony 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 is a strong addition to the handling. It provides fast and quiet autofocus as well as quick manual focusing.
