The **Sony Zeiss Planar T \* FE 50mm F1.4 ZA** camera lens ensures optimum performance on the entire frame and at all apertures. This lens has advanced AA (Advanced Aspherical) and ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements. These elements provide a reduction in the spherical and chromatic aberration. Moreover, the Zeiss T \* Coating limits the ghosting and flare. The Planar design thereby ensures minimal distortion.

The large maximum aperture of maximum F1.4 ensures clarity and speed, this benefits interior shots in low light, night scenes, and portraits. The circular opening with 11 blades provides excellent bokeh. For additional functionality, the Sony Zeiss Planar 50mmlens has an aperture ring with adjustable on / off switch, an AF / MF switch focus and a dust- and moisture-resistant design. This lens is equipped with a ring drive SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) system for efficient fast, accurate and virtually silent focus that is particularly useful for filming.
