The SWIT PB-R290S+ 290Wh Heavy Duty IP54 Battery Pack is a 290Wh V-mount battery for cine and ENG cameras. The battery features a robust, sealed dual housing, is IP54 rain-resistant and can withstand drops of up to 1.5 m. The battery supports high load, fast charging and a digital display of power information, making it ideal for use in the field.

The PB-R290S+ features a sealed dual housing that meets the IP54 standard for water resistance in rain, snow and other adverse weather conditions. The dual housing with rubber cover is also strong enough to survive drops of up to 1.5 metres from any angle.

Built from 24 high-quality 18650 battery cells, it achieves a high capacity of 290Wh / 20.1Ah. It can run for approximately 11 hours with standard ENG cameras and approximately 3.5 hours with the ARRI ALEXA.

The PB-R290S+ delivers a minimum of 250W / 20A high load, even at 1% capacity (peak load up to 305W), to power demanding cinema cameras and on-camera devices simultaneously. The high-load cells also ensure the battery lasts longer than standard-load batteries, even under prolonged full load. Overcurrent protection: 24A.

The PB-R290S+ supports 6A fast charging via the SWIT PC-P461S or S-3812S fast charger, saving more than 50% on charging time. The 290Wh PB-R290S+ battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 2.5 hours and fully charged within 3.8 hours.

The PB-R290S+ features innovative 8-LED power indicators. When the battery is in use or being charged, the LEDs display the current capacity as a percentage. When the battery is running low, the LEDs show the remaining runtime at the current discharge current, accurate to within 15 minutes. The battery uses intelligent SMBUS, compatible with both the Sony and RED camera information systems, and can display the remaining minutes in the camera's Viewfinder.

On the top of the battery there is a D-tap DC output to simultaneously power other on-camera equipment. The maximum output current of the D-tap is 10A.
