The Tamron 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 Sony FE is a compact and lightweight all-in-one zoom lens. This lens is the long-awaited successor to the Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD (Model A071) lens. The lens offers a fairly large zoom range from wide angle to telephoto, making it very versatile. The precisely positioned special lens elements are specially designed for the ever-increasing resolutions of today's digital cameras. Excellent optical performance is guaranteed with this lens across the entire zoom range.

The new G2 model is the world's first next-gen all-in-one zoom with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 at 25mm instead of the f/2.8 at 28mm of the previous model. The lens retains its compact size and 200mm telephoto range. As a result, the G2 delivers better photo quality, is faster, and has better autofocus thanks to the Tamron VXD Motor focus mechanism.

The 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 is ideal for close-up shots. At 25mm, the shortest focusing distance is only 16 centimeters, achieving a maximum image magnification of 1:1.9. With the large f/2.8 aperture, you can create beautifully blurred backgrounds while standing close to your subject. Even in telephoto mode, the close-up capability is remarkable, with a minimum focusing distance of just 80 centimeters (a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:3.9). This allows you to take beautiful, full-frame photos of butterflies and flowers, for example.

The lens features a new AF drive system, and thanks to the Tamron VXD focusing motor, focusing is virtually silent. This makes this zoom lens ideal for video recording as well. The design of the 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 offers an excellent user experience thanks to its length of 121.5 mm and weight of only 575 grams. In combination with your full-frame Sony FE-mount system camera, you can capture every moment in everyday life, whether it's during a city trip, a walk in nature, or capturing the ultimate sports moment. The Tamron 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 Sony FE ensures that everyone, from beginners to professionals, can take the perfect photo.
