Like other dovetails, this one can be mounted on most support systems, such as tripod heads or camera cranes, using 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws. The Tilta Dovetail features a unique rail on which camera systems with Tilta Baseplates can slide and be locked in various positions.

This gives you greater flexibility when balancing your camera system on a tripod head for precise and easy operation. The built-in safety pin provides additional security, which is especially important when extra assurance is needed — for example, when mounting overhead.

Combined with the Tilta Dovetail Shoulder Rig, this plate allows you to switch quickly between locked shots and shoulder-mounted shooting. The Tilta Standard Dovetail is a lightweight, low-profile option that pairs perfectly with Tiltaing and Tilta Standard Baseplates.
