Tilta Camera Cage for Nikon ZR Power Kit - Black
The foundation of the Tilta Camera Cage for Nikon ZR Power Kit (Black) is the full camera cage, which provides enhanced protection for the Nikon ZR camera body and also serves as a base for attaching additional accessories. Mounting points include M3 threads, a cold shoe receiver, 1/4"-20 threads with positioning points, and a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 adapter.
This camera cage features two additional contact points. A mounting point at the top left attaches to the camera's strap lug, while a positioning pin at the bottom, next to the 1/4"-20 thread, prevents the camera from rotating within the cage.
Thanks to the modular design, the full cage can be disassembled into an L-shaped half cage when needed. This results in fewer mounting points but reduces the overall weight of the system — ideal for filmmakers using gimbals or moving quickly whilst shooting.
The included cable clamp attaches to the side of the cage and provides extra security for a USB-C and Micro HDMI cable. The thumb screws make this accessory quick and easy to adjust.
This kit includes the adjustable ARCA receiver and the Mini PD battery plate, offering a unique and lightweight option for mounting a battery plate without traditional base plates and 15 mm rods.
The receiver can be extended to position the battery plate closer to or further from the camera body, while a pivot hinge also allows users to adjust the angle of the battery relative to the camera body.
The battery plate allows users to extend the runtime of their camera and accessories using higher-capacity V-Mount batteries, and offers multiple power outputs, including a 60W PD USB-C, a P-Tap, and a 2-pin Lemo connector.
Unique to this plate are the integrated strap slots, which allow users to attach an included safety strap to their V-Mount battery to reduce the risk of accidental disconnection. The battery plate features 1/4"-20 and M4 threads on the top, making it easy to mount in a variety of ways using additional adapters or articulating arms.
