With the Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX5 you protect, reinforce and expand your cinematography camera for a wide range of shooting situations. The full cage is specially developed for the FX5 body and uses three contact points for a stable, twist-free connection. If you want to work lighter, you remove the two lower screws and the grip-side bracket and convert the full cage into a more compact half cage, while retaining the essential mounting functions. Reinforced corners protect your camera against impacts, while you retain full access to all buttons, dials, the screen and the battery compartment. A special magnetic lock secures the battery compartment without slowing down swaps.

The cage offers numerous mounting options: 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating points, a cold shoe, a NATO rail for top handles and a mount for a single rod holder. The separate top plate has an integrated NATO rail and extra 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, and remains compatible with the original XLR top handle. You slide the bi-directional ARCA base plate in from both sides for quick swaps between tripods and gimbals, with a DJI gimbal centring point that speeds up your balancing. The cage also integrates seamlessly with the Tilta Nucleus autofocus adapter, and the reshaped grip with pinky support sits comfortably in the hand during handheld work.

This Power Kit adds a lightweight power solution. You extend the adjustable ARCA receiver to place the battery plate closer to or further from the camera, and thanks to the swivel hinge you set the angle of the battery up to 180 degrees. The supplied 100W Tilta Mini PD V-Mount battery plate works with higher-capacity V-mount batteries, so your camera and accessories run longer without a traditional baseplate or 15mm rod construction. The power outputs consist of a 60W PD USB-C connection, P-Tap and a 2-pin LEMO connector, and with the integrated belt slots and the supplied safety belt you prevent the battery from accidentally coming loose.
