The Voigtländer Nokton 1.5/75mm Canon RF-mount aspherical (black) is a large aperture medium telephoto lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras with Canon RF mount. Despite the large aperture with a maximum aperture of F1.5, it is both compact and powerful.

The optical system is optimised for the image sensor of a mirrorless camera using a Canon RF mount. This lens has a full-frame image circle and can be used with both full-frame and APS-C mirrorless cameras.

The lens mount features electronic contacts to enable telecommunication between the lens and the body. Combined with the Canon EOS R System body, it supports Exif information, image stabilisation in the body (3-axis) and three types of focus assist functions (magnification, peaking and focus guide).

The all-metal helicoid unit, which is machined and tuned with high precision, and the use of high-quality grease that produces moderate torque, ensure smooth focusing with a feel for operation. It allows for subtle focus adjustment.

Although it is a large aperture lens with a maximum aperture of F1.5, the minimum aperture can be set to F32. At f/1.5 with the maximum aperture, you can enjoy great bokeh, while at f/32 at the smallest aperture, you can get deep focus.

To bring the holes formed by the aperture blades closer to a circular shape, an aperture with 12 elements is used. The blurred area is a natural representation and the point light source is not a polygon, but a round and soft bokeh.

The aperture ring features a click switch mechanism and it is possible to open and close the aperture steplessly without experiencing clicking when shooting videos or adjusting the fine depth of field.
