The Wimberley AP 612 replaces the standard base on the Sony FE 300mm f/2.8 GM lens. The AP-612 has been precision machined to slide directly into an Arca-Swiss-style quick release clamp. It also has 1/4" and 3/8" tapped holes for mounting on non-quick release tripod heads and monopods. All replacement feet have the same dual safety stops and flash bracket compatibility as Wimberley's lens plates.

For use on the following lens: Sony 300 F2.8 GM OSS.

This custom low-profile replacement foot replaces the factory foot on the rotation collar of your lens and also serves as the Arca-Swiss-style quick release plate for the lens. No additional quick-release plate is needed. It makes your lens more manageable on a conventional tripod head, such as a ball head, and it is also easier to carry.
