Zoom F1-LP Field Recorder with Lavelier Microphone

The Zoom F1-LP Field Recorder with Lavalier Microphone combines a two-channel F1 audio recorder with an LMF-1 omnidirectional Lavalier microphone. Because of the lightweight and slim profile, the recorder can be neatly attached to straps or waistbands and fits in pockets without being seen. It offers videographers, vloggers, and journalists a flexible solution for capturing high-quality audio for video, no matter how far away the subject is from the camera. The F1 is equipped with a stereo 1/8" microphone/line input that provides plug-in power to small microphones, and a patented 10-pin connector that is compatible with all Zoom microphone capsules. Stereo audio is recorded up to 24-bit / 96 kHz in BWF-compatible WAV or different MP3 formats, directly on microSD or microSDHC cards The device offers a series of one-touch buttons that give you quick access to recording level, limiter control, lo-cut filter and volume output as well as a 1/8" stereo telephone/line output connection with a special volume control and a monochrome LCD screen that is easy to read, even in bright sunlight.

The recorder comes with essential features for videographers, including a tone generator for setting levels, sound markers for audio and video alignment, a built-in limiter to control your levels when loud peaks occur in the volume, and a Rec Hold function to prevent accidental operation of buttons. A micro USB port is available for data exchange to and from a computer, as well as for use as an audio interface with a computer or an iOS device. The F1 uses two standard AAA alkaline batteries, lithium batteries or NiMH batteries or an AD-17 AC adapter (available separately) and offers up to 6.5 hours of use with alkaline batteries when using the Lavalier microphone. The device comes with a windshield and a stereo cable to connect the recorder to the audio input of the camera.
