The ZWO Seestar Smart Telescope S30 AP 30-150mm impresses with new features and powerful performance! The S30 is also a fully automatic GoTo telescope for nature and astrophotography with a built-in Camera and control via Smartphone or tablet using ZWO's proven Seestar app. New is the Sony IMX662 colour sensor with 6.45mm diagonal and high resolution thanks to its triplet lens design.
The field of view is larger than its predecessor, the S50, and also has a wide-angle system with mozaïekmode. This means that even large nebulae and galaxies (e.g. NGC 7000 or M31) now fit completely in the photo. You can even use the mozaïek mode to select and move the area to be photographed with the S30. With multiple shooting modes, voice commands and seamless smartphone control, the Seestar S30 transforms even beginners into astronomy professionals with ease.
The professional apochromatic triplet optics deliver razor-sharp images of the night sky with excellent control over chromatic aberration. The high-quality coating also helps reduce light loss. Thanks to high sensitivity and low noise, image noise interference is minimised even during extended deep-sky imaging, ensuring excellent performance even on the darkest nights. Moreover, the image processing in the app offers automatic noise reduction with één press of a button, while preserving the details of the celestial body, resulting in stunning images even in areas with high light pollution! You can also customise the style of your image to suit your taste and share your stunning photos with others instantly.
Using its built-in sensors and star charts in combination with your Smartphone's GPS sensor, the Seestar S30 automatically performs self-calibration and alignment. The Seestar is simple to use and easy to learn. You don't need to be an astronomy expert to get photographic results! With the autofocus system, focusing is no longer a problem. The S30's autofocus ensures your images are always sharp and clear, even offering autofocus in landscape mode.
Finding your object is easy: select the object on your phone in the app ("Tonight's Best") and the Seestar automatically focuses on the target and starts tracking. With just a few clicks, you can access the S30's star and deep-sky object catalogue with over 4,000 objects listed and get detailed information about your chosen celestial target. Three permanently built-in filters: a UV/IR block filter for all objects, a duo-band filter to increase contrast for gas nebulae and a dark filter for calibration ("dark").
