What do you use an editing console/panel for?

An editing console or panel works together with certain photo or video editing programs and connects to the computer. It is therefore fully tailored to them. In short, with a console you have more control over your adjustments than with a mouse.

Moreover, a tablet measures how hard you press with the pen, so lines can be drawn thicker and thinner. The pen also often has a button or buttons that act as the right mouse button.
