The Panasonic LUMIX DC-G9II is the first LUMIX camera with a fast, precise Phase Detection AF. With 779 focus points, the camera tracks your subject very accurately across the frame. Even in conditions that are normally challenging for an AF system — such as backlit or low-light situations — focus remains razor-sharp and lightning-fast. The detection capabilities of the autofocus system have also been greatly improved, recognising people, animals, and vehicles. The new AI recognition technology enables more accurate focusing in scenes with multiple people and recognises people and animals individually. The option for an extra-small focus point and AF Micro Adjustments allow you to work with great precision.
Combined with the ultra-fast focusing, the extensive burst capabilities ensure you never miss a moment of action. You can shoot at up to 75 frames per second with the electronic shutter! With the improved buffer memory, you can shoot continuously for approximately three seconds. Even during burst shooting, the display remains blackout-free. The rolling shutter effect is prevented, resulting in sharp images without distortion. Thanks to the improved Pre-Burst Shooting option, you can go back in time to capture the perfect shot — so you always get the perfect moment.
Excellent stabilisation makes the G9II ideally suited for handheld shooting. 8.0-stop B.I.S. and 7.5-stop 5-axis Dual I.S. provide powerful correction of camera shake in low light or when using a telephoto lens. Newly added is Active I.S. technology, which corrects camera shake while you're moving. The combination of Advanced E.I.S. and Active I.S. delivers smooth footage, ideal for every active videographer and photographer.
The G9II also makes it easy to shoot top-quality video. With 4K resolution and 120fps, you can capture the sharpest images even in slow motion. The 10-bit colour depth delivers rich, vivid colours that remain true to life. Recording assist functions — such as frames showing what you're filming or how your image will look when you apply a vertical crop — simplify the recording process. Advanced recording settings such as 13+ stops V-Log or V-Gamut provide extra colour control. With the new real-time LUT recording capability, you can simplify your workflow and record photos and videos with a LUT applied in-camera. USB-SSD recording supports professional video formats such as ALL-Intra Recording and ProRes Recording.

The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 50-200mm f/2.8-4.0 ASPH Power OIS is a versatile ultra-telephoto zoom lens with a zoom range of 50 to 200mm (equivalent to 100-400mm on a 35mm camera). The lens is suitable for a wide variety of shooting situations, from wildlife to fast-paced indoor sports or portrait photography. The Power O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser) provides effective compensation for camera shake, allowing you to capture sharp images even without a tripod. In addition, the lens works with Dual I.S. (Image Stabiliser) and Dual I.S. 2 when used with one of the compatible Lumix mirrorless cameras from Panasonic.
The lens construction consists of a total of 21 elements in 15 groups, including two UED (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion) lenses, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses, and two aspherical lenses.
