Panasonic Lumix DC-S5IIX body

The Panasonic Lumix DC-S5IIX is an addition to the popular LUMIX S series. The system camera has incredible photo and video performance in an attractive, compact design. Compared to the LUMIX S5II, the LUMIX S5IIX goes the extra mile for professional videographers, in a sleek, matte black design. The S5IIX has a 24-megapixel 35 mm full-frame CMOS sensor that lets in a lot of light and provides razor-sharp images. The sensor combined with the advanced image processor ensures excellent image quality for both still and video recording.

Reliable autofocus and stabilisation

The updated image sensor supports, for the first time in the LUMIX line, hybrid phase-detection autofocus. The hybrid autofocus system combines phase detection with contrast detection for fast and reliable focusing. The new system can easily recognise subjects even in challenging conditions such as when there is low light. When the focus is fixed, it continues to follow the subject across the screen. Continuous autofocus is also available when zooming in, as are AF micro-adjustments.

The LUMIX S5IIX has significantly improved image stabilisation, so you can take stable, strong shots even when handheld. Active image stabilisation comes in very handy in challenging conditions such as when using a telephoto lens or when filming while walking. Active image stabilisation also ensures highly stable videos by optimising horizontal, vertical and rotation correction.

Exceptional video performance

The system camera has exceptional video performance similar to the LUMIX S1H. So you film in 4:2:0 10-bit 6K (3:2) and 5.9K (16:9) in 30fps and 4:2:2 C4K/4K in 60fps. You can easily record in High Frame Rate at up to 120fps and in slow motion at up to 180fps. You can use different colour profiles such as 14+ stop V-log and V-Gamut. The support for a REAL TIME LUT function allows you to upload colour-correction LUTs to an SD card and add them directly on camera instead of during post-processing. The LUMIX S5IIX is capable of 5.8K Apple ProRes recordings to SSD via HDMI or USB and ALL-intra recording. The S5IIX also supports Apple Pro Res RAW video output to Atomos. The camera is compatible with wireless and wired IP streaming and USB tethering. For professional videographers, features such as Waveform Monitor, Vector Scope and Zebra Pattern have been added. Features such as System Frequency (24.00Hz) and Synchro Scan also make this camera suitable for professional use.

Excellent photos with minimal workflow

The camera has several options that give you excellent photos with minimal workflow. Features such as AWB lock, MF assist and a new Live Crop function provide a highly refined shooting experience. An HDMI type-A and USB 3.2 gen 2 jack provide extensive connectivity options. Thanks to WiFi 5GHz, you can also connect to smartphones and tablets wirelessly quickly and stably. Dual UHS-II memory card slots ensure you always have enough space.

Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm F3.5/5.6 L-Mount

The Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm F3.5/5.6 L-mount is a compact, lightweight standard zoom lens with a versatile 20-60mm zoom range. The wide viewing angle at 20mm makes this lens perfect for locations with limited space and the 60mm is ideal for i.a. portraits. The Lumix S 20-60mm F3.5/5.6 has a minimum focusing distance of 15 cm and can effortlessly capture smooth videos, thanks to a mechanism that suppresses focus breathing, which is usually a problem for film makers trying to use still image lenses for video.

The optical construction consists of 11 lenses in 9 groups, and 2 spherical and 3 ED lenses minimise axial chromatic aberrations as well as chromatic aberrations through magnification. The aspherical lenses also correct astigmatism, which ensures exceptionally clear shots. In addition, the UHRI (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens ensures uniform image quality from the centre to the edge of the shot.

Weighing only 350 g, this lens is very portable. The body is dust and splash proof, a fluorine coating on the front lens element makes it water and oil repellent.

Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-200 mm f/2.8

The Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-200 mm f/2.8 lens is a telephoto zoom lens with an enormous resolution and high contrast throughout the zoom range. The lens is suitable for all kinds of photography, from sports shots to portraits. Needless to say, this lens is a pleasure to work with for the nature enthusiasts among us. With beautiful detail, capture wildlife over great distances. The lens has built-in stabilisation and is compatible with 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 technology from Panasonic. This compensates for up to 7 stops. Thanks to this stabilisation, you can effortlessly capture moving subjects over long distances. The nine aperture blades form a circular aperture for beautiful blurred highlights. The optical performance of this LUMIX S PRO lens is excellent and meets strict Leica standards.

The lens unit consists of 22 elements in 17 groups. One aspherical lens, two ultra extra-low dispersion lenses and three extra-low dispersion lenses help minimise chromatic aberration and maximise sharpness. The lens produces beautiful bokeh effects and minimal vignetting. This lens is also well suited for video. This is evidenced in part by the aperture, which is smoothly changeable to prevent sudden changes in exposure. Moreover, the whole design is made so that the lens is nigh on noiseless. The fast autofocus works perfectly with 4K video for high quality videos. The lens body is dust & splash resistant to protect it from the elements.
