Atomos Sumo Pro-19
The Atomos Sumo PRO-19 is designed for professional filmmakers, directors and technical teams who want maximum control during recording. The large 19-inch 4K HDR screen offers accurate colour reproduction and extensive monitoring tools. With this monitor, you can reliably assess footage on set. Thanks to support for HDR, Log-to-LUT display and calibration options, you can see exactly what the final result will look like, ideal!
In addition to monitoring, the Sumo PRO-19 functions as a powerful recorder and live switcher. The Sumo Pro-19 makes it possible to record and play back up to four ISO camera feeds and a fifth programme channel simultaneously, while switching between the different sources in real time. This makes the system ideal for multicam productions, live events, interviews or studio productions.
Recordings are stored in professional codecs such as Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNxHR and H.265 with support for resolutions up to 8Kp30 via both SDI and HDMI connections. Extensive connectivity with 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, XLR audio, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and NDI HX3 makes integration into virtually any professional workflow easy. Via cloud platforms such as Frame.io, Dropbox and ATOMOSphere, you can upload files directly from the set.
Camera control
Sumo PRO-19 also offers touchscreen control for important camera parameters. These include start/stop, ISO, shutter speed, aperture and white balance for supported cameras, as well as touch to focus. The ability to control cameras remotely is particularly valuable in situations where the camera itself is difficult to access during shooting, for example when it is mounted on cranes or ceiling rigs. Control is available for most mirrorless cameras from Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic and Sony.
