All you need to know about background systems

Photographing and filming is made a lot easier by background systems. Especially when getting started with models and products, where you naturally need a background without any distracting elements that you do not wish to capture. With background systems, you mainly think of studios, but this isn't the only option. You can also use these systems on location. We offer a flexible solution for shooting with a professional background anywhere. The backgrounds can be used for wide rolls of paper, collapsible screen constructions or background cloths. There are so many options you can use for a background. It's nice to be able to choose a suitable background for every shoot.

When can I use a background system?

You can opt for a background system when you want a quiet background in your photos. But it is of course not ideal for every type of photography. Such systems are most commonly used in portraits to put the focus on the model. As well as for (commercial) product photos or model photography. It is necessary to focus on the products, because this is what you want to show. They are also widely used for (series) shots that require a certain uniformity for optimal presentation.

    Tips for using background systems

When you first start photographing with a background cloth and/or system, you will probably run into questions or issues. Let's get you started now so that you start off as smoothly as possible.

    • White backgrounds simply and cost-effectively offer more variety via flash units with colour foil
    • Neutral black backgrounds are very useful for creative double shots
    • With paper background rolls, it is recommended to use our suspension systems and special stands to prevent damage to the paper.
    • In our range, there are also special green backgrounds for key editing with software to quickly edit your subjects into other images.
