The Sony FE 16-35mm F/2.8 GM is a fast and flexible wide-angle zoom lens especially for Sony full-frame E-mount system cameras and, thanks to its zoom range, is suitable for landscapes, architecture, and portraits, among other things. With a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8, this lens offers consistent performance across the entire zoom range and is suitable for working in low light. The optical construction of the 16-35mm F/2.8 GM features two Extra-Low dispersion lens elements to minimize chromatic aberration, along with two XA elements and three aspherical elements that significantly reduce spherical aberrations, ensuring high image quality and very sharp shots. In addition, this lens has a Nano AR coating to prevent ghosting and lens flare for more contrast and better color reproduction when working in bright light conditions. This coating also makes dust and grease less likely to adhere. 

The Sony FE 16-35mm F/2.8 GM features an almost perfectly rounded aperture with 11 aperture blades, which ensures a nice and soft bokeh effect. Two Direct Drive SSM AF groups offer fast, quiet, and highly accurate autofocus for both shooting and filming. This lens has a dust- and moisture-resistant design that allows you to continue shooting or filming even in adverse weather conditions.
