Return

At Photospecialist, you have a legal cooling-off period of thirty days. Your cooling-off period begins on the day after you have received the product. Would you like to return something? That is possible within this thirty-day cooling-off period. You are responsible for the return shipping, including any related shipping costs. If we receive the complete item undamaged (and if reasonably possible) in the original packaging, we will reimburse the entire purchase amount.

How does it work?

If you wish to return a product, follow the steps. This will ensure a quick return process.

Complete the return form as completely as possible. The costs for the return shipment are for your own account.

What will happen next?

As soon as we have received your return shipment, we will send you a confirmation email (please allow 5 working days after receipt). If you wish to exchange the item, we will send you the desired exchange item if available. Or we will refund the full purchase amount, including standard shipping costs, as soon as possible. Refund will take place no later than fourteen days after the cancellation. For reimbursements, we make use of the same payment method that you chose. We are legally allowed to wait with the refund until we have received the return items.

Exceptions of the right to cancel

There are a number of products excluded from the right of withdrawal. This means these items cannot be exchanged or returned. The following are excluded from the right of withdrawal:

  1. Software of which the seal has been broken after delivery. These products are not suitable to be returned when the seal is broken after delivery, as the software can easily be copied.
  2. Downloadable software and digital content. For digital content that has been executed in full within the cooling-off period of 14 calendar days, this is excluded from the right of withdrawal. This exception only applies if the purchase has started with the express consent of the consumer who has thus declared to waive his right of withdrawal.
  3. Items that cannot be exchanged or returned for hygienic reasons if the seal is broken. These include products such as in-ear earplugs.
  4. Products that are custom-made especially for you (Customised), like photo prints, albums, canvas, etc.

If, in the assessment of the goods, you have gone further than necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, we may charge a depreciation fee. This depreciation can be up to 100%. In this case, this mainly concerns:

  1. Ink cartridges whose packaging has already been opened, are subject to a 100% depreciation. These products can no longer be sold after opening.
  2. Printers put into use, where the use goes beyond determining the nature, characteristics or operation.
  3. For opened items delivered in a blister pack and of which the packaging clearly indicates what it is for, depreciation may be charged for replacing the packaging.
  4. Redeemed or filled-in vouchers purchased from us, or cash vouchers.
