With a focal range of 100 to 500 mm, 5 stops image stabilisation and L-series quality, the RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM offers excellent performance and image quality. Experience unparalleled contrast and sharpness, thanks to UD lens elements and ASC coatings. The 5-stop image stabilisation helps to produce vibration-free images for clearer results.
With its extensive zoom range in a compact and portable body, the lens is ideal for travelling and photographing wildlife. Use the optional 1.4x and 2.0x extenders to further increase the zoom range. Double Nano USM motors facilitate quick, smooth and nearly silent AF. In addition, a group of floating lens elements improves the versatility with a minimum focusing distance of just 90 cm. Thanks to the Lens Control Ring, you can adjust various camera settings, such as aperture of shutter speed, allowing you to concentrate on capturing the moment.
The RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM weighs only 1525 g with the tripod mount attached, and is 207 mm long when the zoom is completely retracted. Furthermore, dust and waterproof seals and heat shield coating make this a very durable lens.
