The 3 Legged Thing Ellie with Peak Design Capture Base in Grey is an L-bracket that provides users with greater compatibility with a wider range of cameras and advanced functionality. L-brackets are mainly used for switching from landscape to portrait on a tripod while preserving the focal plane and horizon.
This Ellie has been specially designed to work with the Peak Design Capture v3 Clip system. It has a standard Arca Swiss compatible base that clicks firmly into the Capture.
Ellie is compatible with standard Arca-Swiss clamps and has two different 2 screw mounting slots in the base. This allows users to position the L-bracket in the optimal position for their camera. The length of the bracket base can be adjusted thanks to two rigid stainless steel sliding bars that are then secured in place by the user with the included tool. The back of the base is angled to make the screen more accessible. The vertical aspect of Ellie has an opening on one side, allowing users to connect accessories with L-shaped cable pins. This opening can be placed in one of four positions by inverting or turning the vertical aspect.
