8Sinn Riser Plate II
The 8Sinn Riser Plate II is another part of the 8Sinn Baseplate system that serves to help you achieve the 85 mm optical centre in your camera setup. The Riser II must be used with the 8Sinn 15 mm baseplate as it has a compatible aperture for it. Riser II differs from the 8Sinn Riser Plate I in its compatibility with the Arca Swiss Plate made specifically for it. The Riser Plate II features a release pin on one side and a lever on the other. The parts are designed so that the adjustment does not interfere with the use of the camera. The Arca Swiss Plate is protected against dropping and locks securely on both sides.
The 8Sinn Arca Swiss Plate for Riser Plate II - is retained in Arca Swiss-standard, but the safety mechanism is an 8Sinn solution and to keep it fully functional, the Riser II must be used with the 8Sinn Arca Swiss Plate for Riser Plate II.
The optical centre can be achieved when used with the combination of the 8Sinn cage, 15MM base plate and Riser Plate II + 8Sinn Arca Swiss Plate with the following camera models:
