The Billingham Overnighter in the colours sage fibrenyte/chocolate is the latest non-photographic bag from Billingham. Smaller than the Weekender, it is the perfect bag for an overnight stay.

The two leather handles are laser cut and then stitched on the same machine that did this job 20 years ago. Billingham staff join them together and then hand sew them to close, before finishing the edge and then preparing them for our sewing line. The handles are reinforced and contoured, so they are extremely comfortable for extended use. The same leather is used on the corners at points of greater wear, protecting contents no matter how much travel.

FibreNyte Canvas is used for the bag, which is waterproof, strong and light. The shoulder strap is made from shuttle-woven spun polyester and can be adjusted in length with solid brass fittings. You can remove it completely if you check the bag in checked baggage, or prefer to use the bag without it. The bag includes an SP40 shoulder pad to attach to the sling for extra comfort.

When the bag is fully opened, the sides of the bag can be peeled back using the full-length coil zipper and double pullers to provide a wide opening that helps you pack efficiently .

Inside there is an open mesh pocket with leather edge detail. Here you can store small items to find them quickly; and use the inner clip for keys, fobs or lanyards. A top grain leather luggage tag is also included with the bag.

The size means it will fit most airlines' hand luggage dimensions. The bag also fits in lockers. If you're looking for the nicest bag at the gym or the easiest pack to travel with for a night or two, both the Overnighter (and Weekender) are yours.
