The Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G converts broadcast cameras with SDI connections to 2110 IP video systems. It connects and is powered via 10G Ethernet and supports all HD and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p60. Includes 5-pin XLR talkback.
All Blackmagic 2110 IP converters support the NMOS interface specification, allowing all 2110 IP video devices to work together as a large virtual router. In addition, Videohub Smart Control can route sources to destinations on 2110 IP networks because it can act as an NMOS controller.
Blackmagic 2110 IP converters are designed to support the highest video quality. 10-bit is the most widely used television standard because colours are displayed with 4 times the precision of 8-bit video. Only working with 10-bit video will ensure that all images are a perfect pixel-for-pixel transmission of the original SDI source, so users are always working at the highest quality possible.
Blackmagic 2110 IP converters have connections that support SD, HD and Ultra HD video standards. This means that it can connect existing SDI broadcast equipment to new IP-based infrastructures. In Ultra HD, customers get support for all standards up to 2160p60. The converters automatically switch to a new video standard when the input signal changes. In addition, the multichannel models can output a different video standard on each channel.
