Description
Improve your film performance and give the images a 'Hollywood movie look' with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro. This compact Super35 mm camera is a cine-like camera from Blackmagic and has all the recording functions, sensor, dynamic range (13 stops), buttons and ports like its predecessor. Major new features include a 5" HDR tilting LCD touchscreen with 1500 cd/m2 brightness, a Pro EVF option, built-in clear / 2/4/6-stop ND filters, dual mini XLR inputs, an accurate time code clock and much more. In short: the must-have for every professional film-maker.
The Blackmagic 6K Pro gives the images deeper colours, more details and a wider dynamic range. This increases the film quality of your recordings. The 6K Pro records video at 50 fps in a resolution of 6144x3456. It features a Canon EF mount, allowing you to take advantage of a wide range of EF lenses. With an EF photographic lens, you can create cinematic images with a shallower depth of field. This gives creative effects such as a beautiful bokeh.
The 6K Pro has an elegant design, and is lightweight. This ensures added convenience during filming. The multi-function grip has all the controls for recording, ISO, white balance and shutter angle for greater ease of use. Being an advanced digital film camera, the sensor is designed to reduce thermal noise. This gives you crisper shadows and a higher ISO. The 5" LCD screen makes it possible to get a perfect focus at 4K and 6K resolutions.
High-quality, motorised IR ND filters built into the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro allow you to reduce the amount of light entering the camera. The filters are designed to adapt to the camera's colorimetry and colour sense. The 2, 4 and 6 stop filters give you more leeway, even in bright light. The IR filters ensure that both the optical and IR wavelengths filter themselves evenly. This reduces IR contamination of the images. The settings for the filters can be found on the back of the camera and are easily accessible from the multifunctional handle. You can then read the settings on the LCD screen.
You record with internal CFast 2.0 and SD / UHS-II card slots or via the full-size HDMI port to an optional ATEM Mini switcher for live streaming. You can record longer clips on an external drive via a USB Type-C port.
The 6K Pro includes a DaVinci Resolve Studio licence and supports Blackmagic RAW format recording from the sensor. Using the RAW format with the sensor's metadata, simplifies editing. The 6K Pro comes with an activation key from the DaVinci Resolve Studio.
