Blackmagic Streaming Decoder 4K
.The Blackmagic Streaming Decoder 4K is designed to convert H.264 or H.265 streams from the Streaming Encoder to SDI and HDMI video. A wide range of Blackmagic Design cameras, such as the Blackmagic Studio Camera Pro, PYXIS, URSA Cine and URSA Broadcast G2, feature built-in streaming capabilities, allowing Users to stream directly from these cameras without additional hardware. This enables point-to-point video transmission between remote locations. A 12G-SDI reference input allows Users to connect SDI tally, camera control and talkback and send it back to the encoder.
Both the front and rear of the decoder feature USB-C connectivity for tethering superfast 5G and 4G phones. On an internet connection, the device automatically switches to the data connection of the connected phone, although Users can prioritise Ethernet or phone connection depending on their specific applications. For Cameras without built-in streaming, the Blackmagic Streaming Encoder can be used. Controls are integrated into the encoder's SDI monitor output and connect to the Blackmagic Camera's SDI input. The ultra-portable device is only 14 cm wide, allowing Users to combine it with up to two other optional devices on a rackmount unit, with only 1 RU of space. The decoder comes with the Blackmagic Streaming Utility software.
