The Blackmagic Web Presenter HD is a standalone streaming device that allows you to connect an SDI signal and stream live to the internet in 1080p Full HD via Ethernet. Or via tethering via USB to your smartphone with 4G or 5G connection.
The USB-C port allows you to connect any USB video source, such as your webcam or computer. This allows you to stream live video and audio via the most popular services such as Skype, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch, Periscope, Teams and multiple Mac, Windows, Linux and Chrome OS systems. The Blackmagic Web Presenter HD supports the H.264 codec and streams via RTMP and in a resolution of up to 1080p60
The SDI and HDMI ports can also provide you with detailed status information. You can see if you are On Air, but you can also see the input status, such as bit depth and stream quality, embedded audio input status, video and audio history, trend graphs, and video and audio meters. In addition, you can find some basic information on the LCD screen on the front of the unit.
The Blackmagic Web Presenter HD is so compact that it can be easily integrated into your broadcast set-up. It is also compatible with the optional Teranex Mini Rack Shelf in case you want to place the unit in a 1 RU rack. The dual AC/DC port is useful in case you lose power, then you can use the 4-pin XLR input for DC power. Finally, the Blackmagic Web Presenter HD is also compatible with the Blackmagic ATEM Streaming Bridge, allowing you to decode your stream back to HDMI or SDI.
