Bresser Messier 5" Dobson compact travel telescope
The Bresser Messier 5" Dobson compact travel telescope is something very special. Despite its low price, it offers a high level of functionality and quality.
This compact and very easy-to-use telescope is not only great fun for beginners, but is also a good choice as a travel telescope for advanced amateur astronomers. Its appeal lies in its uncomplicated operation. Simply place the entire telescope on a stable table or wall and align it with the desired object - and the observing can begin. The Messier 5" Dobson comes largely pre-assembled and is therefore ready to use after just a few minutes. The initial equipment allows you to observe immediately - an LED red dot finder, a 25 mm and 9 mm Kellner eyepiece with reversible rubber eyecup and a moon filter are included.
With the 130 mm diameter optics, observation is not limited to the moon and planets of our solar system - you can look far into the universe and observe globular clusters, nebulae and galaxies. The wide-angle optics with a high light intensity of f/5.0 make it easier to find and observe even faint objects.
Bresser did not spare any money and this telescope has a particularly large secondary mirror for ideal illumination of the image field. In the tube clamps, the entire telescope tube can be moved and rotated - everything is balanced in no time and a comfortable viewing position is set. A permanently installed compass with circular spirit level makes it easier to orientate the telescope.
In addition, the telescope tube has a standard GP prism rail, which means that the optics can also be used on almost any other telescope mount with, for example, Goto function and automatic tracking.
A telescope whose versatility, performance and ease of use set new standards in this price range.
Keep in mind that "Newton" reflecting telescopes are very good for astronomical observations of the night sky, but are not well suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day.
