Bresser Microscope Reduction Lens 0.5x Variable
The Bresser microscope reduction lens 0.5x variable is an adapter for microscopes. It is used to magnify detailed images. The light intensity is increased, so that the exposure time is greatly reduced. This adapter makes it possible to adjust the focus of the eyepiece and the camera separately when used with a trinocular microscope. This allows the eyepiece and the camera to be used parfocal. The adapter can be used with a tube with a diametre of 23 mm. The lens design of this focal reducer is specially developed for CMOS and CCD cameras with a sensor size of 1/2" = 6.40 x 4.80mm (diagonal 8mm) or 1/3" = 4.80 x 3.60mm (diagonal 6mm). The adapter is connected with a 1" c-mount thread. The adapter works with CMOS and CCD cameras that have a sensor size smaller than 1/2". Vignetting will occur with a sensor size larger than 1/3". To be sure about the correct size of your camera's CMOS or CCD, it is best to consult your camera's manual.
