The Lav Concealer for the Røde Lavalier II is a soft, flexible holder that can be attached in a variety of ways and adapts to the surface to which it is attached. The soft rubber also acts as a shock-absorbing mount, protecting the microphone capsule from vibrations and absorbing friction noise, giving you clearer sound recordings. This Lav Concealer is a RØDE lav attachment that fits perfectly around the capsule, not only making it easier to conceal the microphone, but also protecting it from adhesive residue that can occur from repeatedly sticking tape directly onto the microphone. The Lav Concealer for RØDE can be attached directly to the skin or clothing using Lav Concealer Tape. The LC Tape is super strong, hypoallergenic and easy to apply, so you can attach it to fabric or skin without worry. The natural rubber used in the production of the Lav Concealer is biodegradable. In terms of clarity, the use of soft, pliable rubber means that it absorbs more vibrations than harder materials (e.g. plastic), ensuring that unnecessary noise never reaches the capsule. The Lav Concealer for RØDE Lav comes with a fabric protective cover and a clothing clip, made from resilient metal. These are attached to the concealer in small holes on the front and back. Using two different materials together prevents friction or vibrations from being transferred from one material to the other and ultimately reaching the capsule. The fabric protective cap and clothing clip are removable and can be attached to the front or back of the lav concealer to lift the fabric away from the entire concealer and quickly attach it to clothing seams.
