Canon EOS C80

The Canon EOS C80 is a Cinema EOS camera with an RF mount. It features a 6K BSI sensor, built-in SDI, high res video capture, 16 stops dynamic range, dual pixel CMOS AF II and triple base ISO. This is a cinema camera for makers of live productions, TV drama’s and documentaries.

Make 6K recordings thanks to the full frame 35mm sensor. The camera features fast sensor readout. Film in 6K 30p internal RAW recording or 4K 4:2:2 10-bit recording of 6K oversampling. IP streaming is also possible allowing real-time video transfer over the Internet while recording. Data management is made even easier by the new file formats: XF hevc S and XXF-avc S.

The Canon EOS C80 is equipped with dual pixel CMOS AF II with EOS iTR AF X, offering filmmakers the following autofocus capabilities across the entire sensor surface: full sensor coverage, human and animal (dog/cat) detection, face, head and body tracking, fast accurate performance. With face recognition and customizable settings, you maintain full control over focus. 

The camera features autofocus that performs well even in low light due to the stacked BSI sensors. Because of the stacking design, you enjoy better readout speed. This improves autofocus capabilities and rolling shutter performance. It also captures light better, reducing image noise.

Another feature to reduce noise is triple base ISO. There are 3 base ISO levels that gives the filmmaker the flexibility to achieve optimal signal noise ratio performance. Even in low-light environments at an ISO of 12,800. An automatic mode is available that causes it to automatically switch to the amount of light of the environment.

The C80 has built-in SDI and Ethernet terminals. The SDI terminal allows simultaneous output with the HDMI terminal for even more flexibility for connectivity to external devices. The built-in WiFi and Ethernet terminals allow users to control the camera remotely.

The LCD panel is bright so you always have good visibility, even outdoors. The joystick is placed closer to the thumb for better control. The top handle is made to allow the use of different accessories. The camera housing has a high-speed multifunction shoe. There is room for 2 SD cards to easily write away your shots.

The Canon RF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS USM Z is the perfect hybrid zoom lens for the professional photographer and videographer. It has a large maximum aperture of F/2.8 with eleven blades for beautiful bokeh. Aberrations, reflections and flare are a thing of the past thanks to two Super UD lenses, one UD lens, three aspherical lenses and ASC and Super Spectra coatings. The lens has a weatherproof body and the fluorine coating protects the front element from dirt.

The Canon RF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS USM Z has a 5.5-stop Optical Image Stabiliser and combined with the body you create up to 7.5 stops of image stabilisation. In addition, the Dual Nano USM motors ensure super fast and accurate autofocus.

The lens features a Control Ring, two customisable lens function buttons and a short 70° zoom ring that allows you to control your focal length in no time. The zoom mechanism is controlled internally for consistent lens length.

The Canon RF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS USM Z provides beautiful images and also features useful (video) additions. For example, it is equipped with an extra iris ring that allows you to set the aperture very precisely during filming. The lens is also compatible with the RF 1.4x and RF 2x extenders and PZ-E2 and PZ-E2B zoom adapters. Ideal for extending the maximum focal length and extra precise and smooth zooming.

The lens comes with a detachable tripod mount. Thanks to the button on the lens, you can still easily rotate and lock your camera when using it on a tripod.
