The Canon DM-E1D is a directional stereo microphone for use with Canon's multi-function hot shoe. The microphone delivers clear sound and increases the quality of your video productions.
You can record audio in three different ways: shotgun for a highly focused mono recording, 90° to pick up slightly wider stereo sound, or 120° for the widest stereo sound.
With the DM-E1D you no longer have to fiddle with cables. You simply slide the microphone onto the multifunctional hot shoe, and it makes contact with your camera. You don't have to worry about a battery either, because it is powered directly by the camera. You can easily adjust settings on the camera's LCD, by pressing the Menu button on the microphone.
