The Canon DR-E12 is a connector which makes it possible to replace your camera's battery. This makes a direct connection to the mains potential. It requires a suitable power adapter such as the optional AC Adapter CA-PS700. This makes it compatible with select Canon digital cameras. It fits into the battery compartment of the camera and must be connected to the DC cord of the optional CA-PS700 AC adapter.
