The Canon 5D Mark IV is a full-frame SLR camera of absolute world-class. The 5D series has stood for top quality for years and the Mark IV continues this tradition full of dedication. You capture everything with the no less than 30.4 megapixels full-frame CMOS sensor with an ISO sensitivity of up to 32,000 and with the latest DIGIC 6+ image processing processor, which until now only appeared in the larger 1DX II. The DIGIC 6+ ensures that you can capture images with amazing speed and quality: up to 7 frames per second, with full Autofocus tracking! It can maintain this for 21 RAW photos in succession and for JPGs the buffer is even infinite.
The focusing system is a pleasure to use and that is not surprising: it comes from the larger EOS 1DX Mark II. You have 61 AF points at your disposal, of which no less than 41 cross-type and 5 Dual cross-type (horizontal, vertical and diagonal measurement) with which you can focus to -3EV. For videos, the 5D IV has the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system, which can also be found in Canon's Pro Video line, the Cinema EOS cameras. Canon also introduces their 'Dual Pixel RAW' system to the EOS 5D Mark IV. Because the 2 ions that make up each pixel, which are normally read simultaneously, can also be read separately from each other, you can first fine-tune the RAW photo in the post-processing by, for example, making micro-adjustments to the sharpness, adjust the blur (bokeh) in the foreground or reduce flare.
