The Canon EOS C200 is a professional cinema camera that features a built-in EVF, 4" LCD screen, top grip, Super 35mm CMOS sensor and Dual Pixel Autofocus. The EF lens mount is not only compatible with Canon's existing range of DSLR lenses, but also with the EF-mount CN-E cinema prime and zoom range. The Super 35mm sensor is coupled with Canon's Dual DIGIC DV 6 image processor, enabling it to record images up to 4K DCI resolution.

The C200 can also record Canon's Cinema Raw Light internally via its single CFast card slot. The camera also has two SD card slots for recording 4K UHD/HD MP4 video. The included and easily removable 4" LCD screen, top handle and camera grip make it ideal for larger shoots. The C200 also has an SDI video output and a built-in XLR connector that provides two channels of audio on one line, microphone and microphone + 48V level.
