Canon EOS C70

The EOS C70 is a Cinema EOS Camera with RF mount and a Super 35mm DGO 4K sensor. Thanks to 4K 120P Slow Motion, wide dynamic range and Dual Pixel CMOS AF in a compact Body.

The design includes a multi-function grip with three adjustable selector wheels and a multi-directional joystick. This ensures easy operation of the Video camera. Made of carbon fibre and polycarbonate, the Body is designed as a strong and light workhorse. Its compact size allows you to easily attach the Body to gimbals, portable or shoulder rigs, drones and in FPV helmets.

The EOS C70 has an impressively wide dynamic range of more than 16 stops. This is because each pixel of the image on the Dual Gain sensor is read at two gain levels (high and low). This combination not only preserves but also enhances detail and quality light and dark details. By using Canon's advanced Canon Log 2 & 3 gamma profiles, you can be sure to create images that offer excellent post-processing flexibility. It also has PQ and HLG HDR as standard.

Professional video equipment usually offers a wide selection of frame rates, resolutions and formats to meet almost any need. The EOS C70 goes one step further with DCI 4K recording at up to 120fps in 10-bit 4:2:2. For even more speed, a Super 16mm crop option enables DCI 2K shooting at up to 180fps. Users can even load created LUTs to preview the look and record footage using Long GOP encoding via XF-AVC, HEVC and H.264.

The Dual Pixel CMOS AF system in the C70 uses Canon's EOS iTR AF X, created with deep learning technology and can track moving subjects with greater accuracy. In particular, a head detection algorithm for face detection mode provides improved accuracy and reliability. Even before these upgrades, the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system was considered an incredible tool for many filmmakers and videographers. The RF mount includes a large diameter with short back focus and the 12-pin communication provides a nice balance between optical and electronic innovation. It also provides excellent AF speed thanks to the range of Canon RF Lenses

The C70 features the Direct Touch Control system, allowing extremely intuitive control of most settings via the large 3.5" vari-angle LCD touch screen. You can set formats, Resolution, start/stop shooting, change Aperture and more just by tapping the screen. The entire Camera is built with Video in mind, offering numerous buttons for quick access to general settings and plenty of customisation. For vertical filming (ideal for social media), the C70 has a 1/4"-20 tripod socket on the side of the camera handle.

Canon RF 35mm F/1.4 L VCM

The Canon RF 35mm F/1.4 L VCM is a powerful and versatile Prime lens with a maximum Aperture of F/1.4, making it enormously bright and suitable for use in a variety of lighting conditions. Designed specifically for the demanding Photo and Videographer, this lens offers exceptional performance in a compact and lightweight design. No matter whether you are capturing portraits, landscapes or events, the Canon RF 35mm always delivers sharp and vivid images with a beautiful bokeh effect.

The large maximum aperture of F/1.4 makes this lens ideal in low-light situations and allows you to create a beautiful, blurred Background to make your subject stand out even more. Thanks to its advanced optical construction with 2 GMo aspherical and 2 UD glass elements, the lens reduces chromatic aberrations, ghosting and lens flare, creating sharp and clear images. In addition, the lens features an ASC and Super Spectra coating to minimise reflections, allowing you to always capture colour-fast and high-contrast images, even in backlight.

The Canon RF 35mm has a minimum focusing distance of just 28 centimetres, allowing you to get close to your subject for impressive close-ups with plenty of detail. The Lenses features a Nano USM and VCM focusing motor that lets you focus accurately and quickly. In addition, focusing is virtually silent, making the Canon 35mm perfect for both Photo and Videography. The separate iris ring lets you control the lens smoothly and manually during filming. The Lens Control ring and adjustable function buttons ensure that you can set the controls completely to your liking.

Its compact size and weight of only 555g make this lens easy to take with you. Moreover, the dust- and splashproof design of the Canon RF 35mm F/1.4 ensures that you can use the lens even in harsh weather conditions and challenging environments.
