The Canon EOS R is Canon's first full frame mirrorless camera. With the innovative technology incorporated in the first camera from Canon's R series, you can shoot and film in stunning detail. This is partly due to the 31.7 megapixel CMOS sensor. The body is compact and features an ergonomically designed grip. This makes the camera feel just as comfortable to hold as you may already be used to with Canon's DSLR cameras. One big difference is this camera's lens mount. The new RF lens mount encapsulates a perfect optical, mechanical and electronic design. The RF lens mount and DUAL Pixel CMOS AF deliver perfect optical performance, quick autofocus (0.05 seconds) and fast communication between the camera and the lens. The EOS R system is characterised by speed, ergonomics and superior image quality. 

The innovative technology allows you to shoot and film in very low light conditions with precision focus. With this mirrorless camera, you benefit from flexibility thanks to its discreet format. The EOS R also lets you silently photograph and film silently in 4K image quality. The Canon EOS R offers sophisticated ease of use, has an electronic viewfinder as well as extensive customisation options.By using the optional EF-RF Mount Adapter, the EOS R is also compatible with current EF and EF-S lenses.

This grip can hold up to two LP-E6/LP-E6N lithium-ion batteries, doubling the recording time. In addition, the camera features vertically arranged controls, including an additional shutter release button for comfortable, intuitive operation. The battery grip has a durable construction to match that of the EOS R, and is both dust and splash resistant.
