Thanks to the powerful DIGIC 8 processor—also found in the R10 and R6—you can enjoy professional images in any situation. You can set the ISO between 100 and 12,800 (expandable up to 25,600). The sensor effectively reduces blur and noise, so you can keep using the camera in dark environments when you need to increase your ISO.

The R100 also has a nice set of functionalities for (novice) photographers. Your photos will always be sharp and of excellent quality thanks to the 24.1-megapixel image sensor and Dual Pixel CMOS AF System autofocus. The camera features various focus functions, such as Face+ Tracking, Spot AF, 1-point and Zone AF. And with as many as 3975 focus points and a 6.5fps electronic shutter, you'll capture your every move with precision.

The R100 comes with multiple creative functions, so your images can be optimised directly in-camera, ready to share. It has multiple creative filters and a Creative Assistant. The Special Scene Mode (SCN) lets you choose from several pre-settings to get the best results in any situation. In doing so, you are completely free to customise these functions for each photo to your liking.
