Canon EU-V3
The Canon EU-V3 is an expansion unit for the EOS C500 Mark II and the C300 Mark III. The EU-V3 increases your camera's operational capabilities and allows you to work with multiple cameras during a (live) production. The EU-V3 offers specialised features for live recording, such as an SDI Return function. The live recording can be monitored via SDI from a production switcher, and the Return function allows you to send signals back to the camera. The Tally function lets you know which camera is currently live via image and the lights on the EU-V3. Both the SDI and Tally functions are essential to inform operators when their feed is live and what the current status of production is.
Another feature of the EU-V3 is the Focus Position Guide. This allows you to lock multiple focus positions and see on your camera screen which focus point you are currently on. This enables you to quickly focus on the right subject.
On the left side of the unit there are four more function buttons that you can use to house your most used settings.
