With the Canon PowerShot PX, you can capture moments while you experience them. The stand-alone camera takes photos and videos based on facial recognition and collects the special moments. The recordings are shared with your linked Canon app, in which they are immediately conveniently sorted into albums. Make the very most of it, without having to spend all day behind the camera.
The PowerShot PX is your personal photographer and needs little to no help in capturing the most important people and moments. That doesn't mean you can't ask it questions, though. It listens to your commands by means of voice control*, which is ideal for taking group photos.The pan-tilt lens rotates through 340° and moves vertically through 110°, allowing everything in the scene to be photographed. With a focal length of 19-57 mm (35 mm equivalent), you have a zoom range of 3x, for wide-angle shots to close-ups. The effective number of pixels on the 1/2.3” CMOS sensor is 11.7 megapixels.
The PowerShot PX recognizes faces and objects and can also be set to give priority to certain faces. In this way, you can be sure that the birthday boy or girl is properly recorded. With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, it works seamlessly with your smartphone or tablet. The built-in battery has a battery life of between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the recording frequency. Charging is done via USB-C. Its portable design makes it ideal for parties and events. Thanks to the 1/4" tripod connection, you can also easily place it on a tripod.*Voice control is available in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Russian.
