The Canon remote-controlled camera CR-N100 is ideally useful in various situations. You can use it in houses of worship, meeting rooms, courtrooms, government applications, event spaces, broadcast stream productions and documentary recordings. The Canon CR-N100 is a remote-controlled camera that allows you to easily expand your productions without requiring a lot of extra work. This allows you to achieve great effects. The status light on the camera, which lights up red during filming, makes it immediately clear when the camera is active.
The CR-N100 has a large number of functions that we already know from Canon camcorders. Examples include a 1/2.3" dual-pixel CMOS sensor, the Canon DIGIC DV 6 image processor, optical image stabilization, hybrid autofocus, 20 times digital and optical zoom, scene modes, a microphone input and video recording up to UHD 4K resolution. In addition, the camera comes with SRT and NDI|HX support, without the need for a separate license. This makes it even easier to integrate the camera into your existing NDI network.
Because the camera has a Canon 1/2.3" dual-pixel CMOS sensor, it is possible to make UHD-4K video recordings at 30p and Full-HD video recordings at 60p. Furthermore, the DIGIC DV 6 image processor plays a central role in producing the very best image quality, delivering excellent performance and user-friendly operation. The processor ensures that the camera has the processing power and speed needed to handle 4K video recordings and hybrid autofocus. This makes the camera an excellent choice for professional productions.
The lens of the Canon remote camera CR-N100 has a wide horizontal viewing angle of 65.6 degrees and a digital and optical zoom of no less than 20 times. In the wide-angle position, the lens is only 29.3 millimeters long, making it capable of capturing extensive scenes even in tight spaces. The lens uses aspherical lens elements to achieve sufficient resolution for 4K images and reduce aberrations across the entire zoom range. The optical image stabilization ensures that vibrations are minimized to keep the image recording stable.
The CR-N100 also features a PT (pan and tilt) mechanism that allows speed changes in multiple steps. This way you can combine high and low speeds with the zoom function, creating smooth PT. It is possible to connect this mechanism to optional remote controls, so that you can perform various types of video productions with one operator. The camera has a variable pan speed from 0.2 to 300 degrees/second and a variable tilt speed from 0.2 to 180 degrees/second.
