While the PDP-USBC cable allows the connected device to determine the voltage required, all other PD Pro cables provide a fixed voltage preset by Core for each specific application. These fixed outputs are optimised to ensure peak performance for your devices.

It is important to check that your devices can handle the fixed voltage of PD Pro cables, similar to how you would with an unregulated P-Tap cable. For example, while unregulated P-Tap cables can deliver a wide voltage range (11-17 V DC), a PD Pro cable designed for 12 V 2-pin LEMO input devices consistently delivers a regulated 15 V output. This intermediate voltage is carefully calibrated for balance and efficiency, ensuring there is no over- or under-output, maximising device stability.
