Description
Datacolor Spyder X2 Photo Studio
The Datacolor Spyder X2 Photo Studio consists of the Spyder X2 Ultra, the Spyder LensCal, the Spyder Checkr and the Spyder Cube.
Datacolor Spyder X2 Ultra
The Datacolor Spyder X2 Ultra is ideal for photographers, video producers, digital designers, content creators and HDR enthusiasts who need advanced solution for calibrating HDR-capable, high-brightness monitors and computer-connected TVs and projectors. In addition, the Spyder X2 Ultra works ideally for tethered shooting, outdoor shoots where bright monitors are a requirement, as well as in the studio.
The X2 Ultra's further developed software offers a concise, simple user interface compared to its predecessor. This makes this calibrator ideal for users looking for fast and accurate colour calibration. In addition, the Spyder X2 Ultra offers colour adjustment software with the ease we have come to expect from Datacolor.
To get started with the Spyder X2 Ultra, thanks to simple presets, you don't need to be experienced with colour calibration. For the more experienced user, the X2 offers video & cinema targets ((Rec. 709, Rec. 2020), advanced Display Mapping & Analysis, unlimited calibration settings, Soft Proofing and 'Studio Match' for simultaneous calibration of multiple displays.
The advanced Display Mapping & Analysis gives you a better understanding of your monitors' colour, brightness, contrast, gamma, tone response and white point. In addition, you also easily check screen brightness, colour uniformity and screen colour accuracy.
Unlimited calibration settings start from industry-standard presets, but you can also customise all settings yourself, such as fully customisable gamma curves and white point and brightness settings.
Soft Proofing allows you to display other displays and devices on your calibrated display. For example, you can see how prints will look with specific printer models and certain ink and paper types.
Studio Match offers simultaneous calibration of multiple displays, making it easy to match multiple displays in exactly the same way, regardless of which monitors you use.
DataColor Spyder LensCal
Spyder LensCal™ provides a fast, reliable method for measuring the focus on the performance of your camera and lens combinations. It allows photographers to obtain razor-sharp focus or to see that their lenses are working at their peak performance. This device is compact, lightweight and durable, with integrated level meter and tri-pod mount. Spyder LensCal was designed to help correct auto-focus on your camera and lens combinations and store in custom your camera settings.
Datacolor Spyder Checkr
Datacolor Spyder Checkr lets you calibrate your camera's colours, set white balance and create colour previews. It has 48 coloured boxes and easy-to-use calibration software. The SpyderCheckr comes in a compact case, making it easy to take with you on location.
How the SpyderCheckr works is quite simple. You take a picture of the colour chart, open the picture in the SpyderCheckr software and let the software analyse and correct colour deviations. These corrections can then be saved to, for example, Adobe Lightroom and serve as presets there.
DataColor Spyder Cube
The DataColor Spyder Cube is the calibration tool for every photographer. Shooting in RAW mode gives a lot of freedom, but processing it requires a lot of extra time. The Spyder Cube speeds up this process by letting the camera instantly use the correct white balance, exposure, levels and brightness.
Use the Cube at the beginning of a series of shots, save this as a preset and you're ready to shoot with the right settings in seconds! The DataColor Spyder Cube is not just a tool for determining the right white balance, it optimises your entire photo!
