Deity PR-2 Stereo Pocket Recorder with Lavalier Mic
Having a reliable and portable audio recorder is essential for recording high-quality recordings on the go. The Deity PR-2 Stereo Pocket Recorder with Lavalier Mic is a small but powerful device that impresses with an impressive range of features that set it apart from the competition.
The PR-2 pocket recorder supports 24-bit and 32-bit float recording formats, meaning you can always achieve perfect gain staging. This feature is especially useful if you record in a live environment and don't have the luxury of constantly monitoring your levels.
The PR-2 Pocket Recorder can wirelessly synchronise timecode from the Deity TC-1 timecode generator boxes (sold separately), which is a great feature for easily adding timecode metadata to your WAV files. This makes it easier and significantly faster to synchronise your audio with your video footage, saving you time and money.
In addition, the PR-2 is remotely controlled via the Sidus Audio app, allowing any setting to be adjusted up to 75 metres away. This feature is especially useful if you need to make quick changes to recording settings remotely. Also features Deity's signature triple-tap locking method to prevent the recording from being accidentally stopped if it is in someone's pocket. The headphone output allows you to monitor and check the lavalier sound quality before recording, but can also output a timecode, turning the PR-2 into a timecode box. This allows you to jam a camera, disconnect and connect your lavalier and quickly record an interview, all in sync.
It runs on 2 AA batteries for nearly 30 hours of battery life.
